1. Congratulations on making it through again Alisha, must be very pleased?
I'm very pleased, blessed and grateful. Someone up there must be looking down on me favorably!
2. How did you feel when it was announced you was in the bottom two again?
I just thought 'noooo not again'.
3. Were you confident of making it through or did you think your dream was about to come to an end?
It wasn't as scary this time, it just made me want to fight harder. I think I handled being in the final two the second time around, maybe because I'd been there the week before and knew what to expect. I'm quite tough on myself so I always think I can do better. My confidence has been knocked though.
4. Were you pleased with your performance? Better than last week?
I was happier with my performance this week and happier with the song choice although I could've done better. I just want to stay in the competition and grow. I need to sing like I do in my bedroom at home and not think about the millions of people watching me on their telly at home. This week I didn't have stairs to worry about and luckily I could stand still and just sing.
5. What did you make of the judges' comments?
They keep saying they want to see the real me. I think I've really got to push deep and show Alisha. It's hard. I think I've lost a little part of the real me but that's through nerves. I really need people to vote for me.
6. How do you feel about the songs you have been given to perform?
The songs have been nice songs but they aren't showing my true potential and I think the judges are seeing that too. I love Alisha Keys and Joss Stone; I'm a soul girl at heart.
1. Hi Sharon, first of all congratulations, you must be very proud that Alisha made it this far?
Of course, I'm thrilled but it was very nerve racking on the night.
2. What was it like seeing her singing live on the show in front of the audience and millions watching at home?
Very proud, the song didn’t show her true vocal range but she still did very well.
3. What did you think of her performance and the judge's comments?
I thought she performed much better on her 2nd time in the sing off. Thank god for Louis and Simon for saving her. Alisha has a lot more to offer.
The Judges comments were fair. It's the voting that counts, she needs your votes.
4. Do you think she can win it?
She’s capable of winning if she has the right song. She's been singing since she was 3 or 4. She had a cassette player that she took everywhere with her and she would sing and dance. She had toys and dolls but it was the cassette player that got all the attention!
5. Has she always been into singing?
Yes. She was bought up with soul, gospel and jazz which is why she's very versatile.
6. Any musical idols or influences?
Beyoncé although her very 1st idol was Aaliyaa, she loved her. She wanted to be called Alisha Aaliyaa Bennett!
She has other influences but Beyoncé is the current role model.
