Family
Just me and mum, we're more like sisters than mother and daughter. I'm from south-west London originally now Wembley Park but I've lived in London all my life.

Homelife
I was in my second year at City Uni studying Media and Sociology and working at Virgin Active part time as a receptionist - I had to give it all up to be in X Factor though. Who knows what will happen, I may pick up my degree again at some point. I'm still in touch with the crew at Virgin Active - the members and staff keep texting me goodluck! They were hugely supportive during the auditions and pushed me all the way, I was always singing on reception so members are very used to my voice! I'm missing not being able to workout!

Goodfellas, all thrillers, I love gruesome stuff!

Music
Pretty much everything. From jazz to house, to classical to indie but I've been brought up with soul and R&B - and of course gospel. My friends say I have a weird ipod collection!!

Fave performer
Beyonce. I love her. When I listen to her I lose all my inhibitions.

TV show
All soaps, I'm a soap fiend. I love Eastenders and Hollyoaks. I like the Osbornes and Amy and I often do marathon sessions of The Sex in the City box set. Top of the list though is X Factor – it has to be!

Celeb
Sharon Osborne, she's amazing, really lovely and very sweet. She really looks after us.

Hero
Mummy. She's always put me first and missed out on her dreams for me. I'm doing this for the both of us. She's totally fabulous as well as my hardest critic.

Food
Chinese – prawns in black bean sauce. Wotsits and strawberry Ribena

A typical day
Wake up, usually miss breakfast. Meet my best friend Amy, we're like Ebony and Ivory, she's great for my moral and always picks me up. We love going down Portobello and Camden. Loving the shops down there. After that I would get something to eat and chill out with mum.

Hobbies
I'm a bit of an artist. I love to draw. I've got an A-level in art. Shopping. Working out at Virgin Active. Theatre. Going to the cinema with Amy to watch horror films, we'll be the loudest in there!

Typical Sunday
Wake up have a cup of tea and go back to bed! Then watch the omnibus of Hollyoaks and Eastenders! Sunday is a bum around day with lots of ‘me' time.

Likes
I'm high maintenance. I didn't realise I was but I'm a girly girl. I love having my hair done, going shopping, chilling out, shopping and clubbing in the West End.
